....said by a man who has forever imprinted the technological industry, America, and the world. Many before us have lived through pivotal eras. There were people to witness the transformation in lifestyles when the T.V. was established, or the Microwave etc. etc. I was alive for the iEverything era.
I believe more than now, people need a Hero. When phrases like "times are tough" and "double dip recession" and "unemployment" become a part of our everyday vocabulary, it is easy for people to lose sight of the American dream. Steve Jobs was living proof that no idea is too extreme, and the only boundaries that limit us, is fear itself.
And my best friend is a testimony to that. Khiara is, and has always been, Hungry. ( Yes for Chocolate) for a vision. People thought it was "foolish" that she turned down a respectable job and endured a summer working at a golf course and babysitting. Now months later,she has one. The one she wanted. And I am more than confident that hunger in her is not nearly filled, because she will continuously do whatever it takes to get to the next step.
For the realist out there. Yes, there are bills to pay and your first job wont be your favorite . I agree. But whats the point of proceeding in the path that youre "suppose to take", if it doesnt give you selfworth, happiness, experience, and appease your hunger. Take the road less traveled.
